A fun day in malibu

Shay, roger and I at staircase while watching the boys surf. If you
look to the left of me, that is a dead dolphin that turned red and
black. Not sure how long it's been there but it was so sad to see.
Can't wait for you guys to come back and visit! Actually Shay-- see
you in a couple of days!

My brother Roger

I love these pics of roger, taken at a surfspot called staircase off
pacific coast highway past malibu. I love how you can see the sun rays
beaming down on him! It was such a beautiful day and thanks again
roger for coming down to la! Love u, Riza

Week 3 of Muson's Stache!

Here is the latest update on my "brother" Mike's stache that he is growing to raise money and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer research.  He has raised over $1300 this month...but his goal is $2500... Let's help him get there!!! Here is his update:

The "stache" has been the subject of much debate, ridicule and thankfully tons of laughter.  I am currently visiting my Mom in Florida and she couldn't help but note how much it reminded her of my Dad's back in the 70s.  That provided a nice connection and launching point for more involved conversations about their courtship and insight into my Dad that I didn't have before.  Beside the money we've all raised together for cancer research, learning more about my Mom and Dad has been the best reward I've gotten from this fun endeavor.

If you haven't already, please donate through the following link :
https://www.movember.com/us/donate/your-details/member_id/107693/

As a reminder, all donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. The Prostate Cancer Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

Riza's Birthday at Manna Korean BBQ

What a lovely night with good friends at Manna Korean BBQ in the heart of Korea Town. The food was amazing, the people were awesome and the atmosphere was delightful. Until it was time for the cake. They made the birthday girl feel so special. Watch the video and you will see why. Payback to come. If anyone takes you to Manna Korean BBQ for your birthday, you might want to think twice!

Mike's Future Stache

Mike's-Future-Stach, originally uploaded by rizanola.

Support my friend Mike and his cause...

mm-1, originally uploaded by rizanola.

A note from my friend Mike... please support his cause! Go Mike Go!

Hello All,

While some people run marathons or volunteer in clinics to support cancer research, I choose to grow a moustache. :-)

For the month of November, I will be participating along with my brethren across the world in "Movember". During this month of Movember we men start with a clean shaven face and grow a moustache through the entire month. The objective is to raise awareness of two deadly enemies of manly men : testicular and prostate cancer.

Cancer in general has deeply impacted my family. My Mom is a cancer survivor and I'm thankful for every bonus day we get to share. Cancer sadly claimed two of my Grandparents before I ever got to meet them as well as my Dad just 3 years ago. I hope you'll support me in this fun endeavor to increase awareness and raise money for a great cause.

To donate please use the link below (any amount helps) :

https://www.movember.com/us/donate/your-details/member_id/107693/

The money raised in the U.S. will be split between the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

The Prostate Cancer Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund:
• the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance program which has the goal of improving survival rates and quality of life for young adults with cancer between the ages of 15 and 40.
• research initiatives to further understand the biology of adolescent and young adult cancers.

For the price of your donation, you'll receive weekly updates with a photo of my moustache's progression. I've attached a picture of my pristine shaved face on November 1st as a baseline. I've also included a photo of my Dad with his 70's stache as inspiration as well as a target for my own stache (I'd love to get those red pants too). :-)

Cheers,
Mike
