Support my friend Mike and his cause...

A note from my friend Mike... please support his cause! Go Mike Go!

Hello All,

While some people run marathons or volunteer in clinics to support cancer research, I choose to grow a moustache. :-)

For the month of November, I will be participating along with my brethren across the world in "Movember". During this month of Movember we men start with a clean shaven face and grow a moustache through the entire month. The objective is to raise awareness of two deadly enemies of manly men : testicular and prostate cancer.

Cancer in general has deeply impacted my family. My Mom is a cancer survivor and I'm thankful for every bonus day we get to share. Cancer sadly claimed two of my Grandparents before I ever got to meet them as well as my Dad just 3 years ago. I hope you'll support me in this fun endeavor to increase awareness and raise money for a great cause.

To donate please use the link below (any amount helps) :

https://www.movember.com/us/donate/your-details/member_id/107693/

The money raised in the U.S. will be split between the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

The Prostate Cancer Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund:
• the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance program which has the goal of improving survival rates and quality of life for young adults with cancer between the ages of 15 and 40.
• research initiatives to further understand the biology of adolescent and young adult cancers.

For the price of your donation, you'll receive weekly updates with a photo of my moustache's progression. I've attached a picture of my pristine shaved face on November 1st as a baseline. I've also included a photo of my Dad with his 70's stache as inspiration as well as a target for my own stache (I'd love to get those red pants too). :-)

Cheers,
Mike
