Fishing Round 2!

At dusk, we went fishing just down the street from my sisters house on
the Atlantic ocean. We had such a great time and caught some fish and
a baby shark!!!! Thanks to uncle jeff! On the way home now to jump
into the hot tub! We love coming to rach and Dans house!

Cale and Lucas caught a puffer too!

Maybe there are only puffer fish in the Indian river!?

Lolo caught a puffer fish!

Jeff caught 3 and my dad just caught one- I am sure Lucas and Cale
will catch one too!!! I didn't know there was this many puffer fish in
the river but they love lolo's bait... Now if they only can catch a
pompano or some other kind of fish!

On my way

This am, woke up at 330a and left Los Angeles in the dark and am now
laid over in Washington dc where the ground is covered in snow! I only
have a 30 minute stop and then on my way to Orlando where I should
arrive at 5pm!

Jeff's doing ok!

On Friday, Jeff took a little spill on his motorcycle and came out
with just a fractured rib and some rasberries on his knee. The
hospital visit was not fun and to help with the pain, they did a
procedure called a nerve block to help alleviate the pain on rib
number 6! After lots of pain medication and a prescription for more,
he was able to go home (and not have to stay the night like originally
planned) and has been recovering all weekend! Thanks everyone for your
texts, emails and phone calls and he is still in pain- but doing much
better. Take it easy babe and see you in a week ... Can't wait for you
to come to Florida! I love you.

My Venus Flytrap!

One of my friend's Paul gave me this Venus Flytrap for my birthday and I love it! It says to keep the environment moist and to feed it bugs but I can't seem to find any bugs! Today- I noticed these moths flying around so I killed it and gave it to my flytrap and it actually ate it! You can see where I placed the bug here....

And then it closed its trap to eat the bug here! It was soooo cool! Thought I would share this experience with you all! Thanks Paul for my gift (and Rhoi too!) I love it!

Mike is now Stache-Free

After a month with the stache... Mike is now stache free! Here is an excerpt from his wrap-up! Congrats to Mike for doing such a noble thing for this cause and for raising a ton of money to go to cancer research! Props to you! (And the thing hanging around Mike's neck comes all the way from Hokkaido, who is now his best friend. Yeah, don't ask.)

Hello All,

The Movember moustache growing is alas a wrap.  You are receiving this email because you were one of an amazing 30 people that donated to the cause of researching cures for prostate and testicular cancer.  Together we raised over $2,000 and I couldn't be more proud of the effort.

Thank you all for supporting me with your fun comments and your wallets in this challenging financial time.  Knowing that in my 36 years on this planet, I've assembled a group of friends and family that can spring to action and step up for a worthy cause in such great numbers really warms my heart.  Having the blessing of your friendship is truly my greatest accomplishment.  You are the best!

The final request I have of you is that you simply ask all the men in your life over 40 - when was the last time they were screened for prostate cancer?

1 in 6 men will get prostate cancer, typically there are no symptoms until its spread beyond the prostate.  Regular screening is vital as prostate cancer is 90% curable if detected and treated early.  Sadly 27,000 men will die from prostate cancer in the US this year alone, don’t let it be someone you know.
