Riza's Blog

I started this blog in 2006 shortly after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. I lived there for nearly 15 years, ever since I moved there to attend college at Loyola University. After the storm, I was separated from most of my family & friends, who are still spread out all over the country. This is the place where I share my thoughts & experiences with them since I have relocated in California, lived in Los Angeles for 4 years and am now in Costa Mesa, CA. And my journey continues.

Del and Kirks Housewarming Party

They just bought a house in Long Beach and it's such a cute house with a huge back yard!! A bunch of us that all used to live in LA together met up at Dels and it was so fun to see each other again. This is Layla's second big party and she did great... Even with only being a month old. Good times.
